Managing, Leading & Inspiring Volunteers in your Community

Virtual Training Workshop:

Thursday 7 November, 11:00-12:30 CET

Join Yesod Europe and JVN for a virtual training workshop on Thursday 7 November from 11:00-12:30 CET, aimed at those who have some role in managing or leading volunteers, regardless of the size of your organisation. It is designed to help you create and effectively manage teams of volunteers to support the work you do.

This session will also enable you to reflect on your approach to volunteering within your community and future-proof your organisation.

This session will be introductory in nature and there will be a follow up online course offered for those who would like to explore the issues raised in more detail.

Participants are requested to join from a computer rather than a mobile device and to turn on camera mode to fully participate in the workshop, including breakout room discussions. We also advise you to update to the latest version of Zoom in advance.

Nicky Goldman

Nicky Goldman has led JVN as Chief Executive since January 2019 and has over 40 years of experience in community development, HR and leadership in the Jewish community.

Nicky holds a Masters in Jewish Communal Service from the Hornstein Program at Brandeis University, Boston, USA, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and participated in the first UK cohort of The Growth Project leadership programme (2020-21) and the first cohort of Sacks Scholars, a leadership programme in honour of Rabbi Sacks (2023-24).

 

Rachelle Lazarus

Rachelle Lazarus is the Charity Engagement and Volunteer Manager at JVN, brings 30 years of experience in community work and has previously managed volunteer programmes for the Survivors Centre of the Shoah Visual History Foundation and the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, and Jewish Care in the UK.

Rachelle participated in the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme (2023-24).
