Seminars and Funds

Yesod seminars and funds are key tools that Yesod provides to support Jewish community professionals and educators in Europe to develop your professional skills and Jewish fluency (Jewish knowledge, understanding and how to apply it in your work).

Yesod Professional Development Fund – Through this fund Yesod will support Jewish community professionals and educators in Europe to develop your professional skills and Jewish fluency. Apply from a minimum of $250 to a maximum of $2,000 US Dollars to take part in a Jewish learning course, professional skills development, a peer visit, one-to-one coaching or consulting.

Yesod Springboard @Limmud Festival 2017 UK – This is a program for young adult Jewish community activists with an interest in working professionally in Jewish communities and organisations across Europe. We will have a special Yesod Springboard programme over Shabbat and dedicated sessions during Limmud Festival, with plenty of time to enjoy the wide range of Jewish learning opportunities and people from all over the world. We will explore what it means to be part of an important and valuable profession, meet with successful Jewish community professionals from around the world, and develop new connections with people like yourself. Plus a chance to find out more about what Yesod can do for you!

Yesod Jewish Community Professionals & Educators (JCPE) @Limmud Festival 2017 UK – Let Yesod appreciate your commitment and effort as a European Jewish community professional or educator with a sponsored place at Limmud Festival 2017 UK! Take time out to be inspired and enriched by the learning and networking opportunities at Limmud.

Kaplan Fellows @Yesod Community Institute – This program for early and mid-career European Jewish community professionals and educators integrates Jewish learning with community building and professional development skills training. Participants are part of the global Kaplan Leadership Initiative, an in-service model of training. Forming the European region, they will take part in three European regional seminars. Parallel regional seminars will take place in Latin America and the Former Soviet Union. Fellows from all 3 regions will join together in a Global Seminar during the course of the programme, delivered by the top level Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership.
