Are you thinking about working professionally in a European Jewish community or organisation?
Then we want you!
Yesod is excited to launch our first Springboard programme at Limmud Festival 2017 UK. This initiative aims to bring together up to 20 young adult Jewish community activists with an interest in working professionally in Jewish communities and organisations across Europe. This programme will include a special Yesod Springboard programme over Shabbat and dedicated Springboard sessions each day on Sunday to Wednesday, with plenty of time to enjoy the amazing Limmud UK experience. We will explore what it means to be part of an important and valuable profession, meet with successful Jewish community professionals from around the world, and develop new connections with people like yourself. Plus a chance to find out more about what Yesod can do for you!
The week-long Limmud Festival is a phenomenal residential Jewish learning and networking opportunity with over 3,000 people and over 1,000 diverse Jewish topics and styles. This is the original and largest Limmud in the world, where you can meet Jewish professionals and activists from around the globe. From politics to performance, new approaches to Jewish texts, daily Chavruta learning, history, social action, community development and more, there is something for everyone and you will have plenty of time to enjoy the opportunity.^ Back to top

Yesod Springboard participants are required to take part in the following activities:
You will need to pay for your flight, visa costs and local travel costs in your country of origin. However, selection does not depend on your ability to cover flight costs and we want to ensure that financial difficulty does not prevent any successful applicants from participating. If you think that you will struggle to cover these costs, please complete the relevant questions on the application form and Yesod will contact you to discuss a travel subsidy if you are selected to take part.
Please note that Yesod Springboard participants will not be eligible to receive financial subsidy from Limmud as European Limmud volunteers in addition to Yesod sponsorship.^ Back to top
Applications are now closed.
Yesod will contact successful applicants by Friday 20 October together with information on how to register for your place at Limmud Festival.
