As the global crisis we are facing continues and deepens, Yesod is stepping up its online programming to give you opportunities for learning and connecting through the Yesod Virtual Community. Check out the initiatives below taking place next week. If there are other ways we can support you as a Jewish Community Professional please get in touch and let us know.
At this challenging time, we would like to extend our love and support to you, your loved ones, and the communities you serve. Stay healthy in mind and body. We should know more normal times very soon.

In this series of two sessions, we will be giving parents and children (approximately ages 6-12) an opportunity to explore together aspects of the haggada through art and illustration. Each session will take a page of the haggada, and we will briefly look at the text of the haggada together. Then the parent-child chavruta (study pair) will be asked to look at the illustration on the page and interpret it, effectively using it as a commentary on the text of the haggada. Finally, the child together with their parent will draw their own illustration as a commentary on the haggada. We will then come together and share our ideas and illustrations.

Grab a coffee (or tea!) and join European Jewish community professional and educator colleagues to connect, chat about your day, ask questions and share initiatives. This will be an informal virtual gathering, at that time mid-afternoon when you might be needing a break, to challenge isolation and to continue building a professional European community. We encourage you to use your webcam if you can. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for joining information.Find out more
